I think this is great. I love that the background is eye-catching, but not distracting from the focus. The hair came out great and the expression in her face is wonderful. I like this version better than the colored one. great job ^.^
well i might as well tell you this now, i'm drawing this i usually don't tell until i finish the drawing but i'm pretty close. i'm only drawing the girl though, not the scene. it's been a year since i did my last portrait. i WANTED to get it as close to the pic as possible but once i started shading i look at the pic on here and noticed there was a HUGE difference (to me anyway). my printer made the dark areas nearly all black instead of showing the lighter shades to it (really mad about that). just wanted to make sure it was ok to put it on here once it's finished (yes i'll provide links as always and if you say no that's fine as well, i'll respect your decision and not put it up) and i'll try and make it up to you in the future with a better drawing a.s.a.p. (others say it's good but as an artist i think otherwise cause i'm like a perfectionist when it comes to my drawings. nearly threw it out to start it over..but didn't. sorry for length
This is truly stunning. The raw emotion of this photograph is almost overwhelming...I will say, I prefer the black and white, however in the colored photo, her lips certainly draw in the eye with it's amazing color.
